In the above picture you get an idea of what work with a machine polisher can achieve. The picture shows the bonnet of a Ford Mondeo with the sun reflecting on it. On the left the swirl marks and scratches are clearly visible but on the right hand side they are completely removed. Swirl marks, cobwebbing and scratches are something that almost every car has, and unfortunately spoil the finish of the paintwork.

Paint correction is the name given to the technique used to remove these imperfections.
